We were lured in by the smell wafting out onto the street and it best meal on my entire UK holiday. I cannot begin to tell you how very awesome it was. We had a range of food to share (spring rolls, garlic chicken, fried rice, mixed vegie dish, beef - Sorry I can't be more specific) and they were all awesome.
And all at a great price. Just wonderful, it completely exceeded my expectations. The waiter was also nice and they were very efficient. -

The food is not spectacular; but it's acceptable if you want comfort Chinese cuisine after driving for more than 4 hours sans proper meals. Being a self-taught independent food critic , I have become quite an expert at sniffing out fresh produce and if meats were properly chilled or prawns are fresh off the waters. Our four dishes lined our empty tummies and that's what that matters on this chilly autumn night.

We got Chinese delivered from here on a Friday night. I'd say it was a bit below average in quality, but I can't comment on the price as I didn't buy it and don't know what it cost! I don't see a menu online, but I remember not being a big fan of the curried Singapore noodles - they were very one-note, all I could taste was curry powder. The food was generally okay - your usual sticky, sweet-and-sour concoctions. Nothing awful, but even for average Chinese takeaway, I think it was a bit substandard in quality. So many other nice places to eat in Windermere, don't think I'd bother eating this again. We had some leftovers, but I didn't really want to eat them the next day, which is really saying something as usually you can't keep me away from leftovers. It just isn't anything special. A Chinese-style ready meal from the supermarket would be better and more fresh tasting.

Great food, great service, good selection, decent price for Windermere, has wifi, newspapers available, difficult to fault if I am honest. I would certainly go again and recommend.
